i really need to know how much high can water reach by our pump..and how much of water...plzzz try finding it sumhow..it is the first thing required to become conclusive on any design..warna all will be a really vague idea...kaam karne baithege to zada mushkil hoga..
check this link for head

http://www.bradshawsponds.co.uk/bradpumps/pumpscompare.htm
Q REFERS TO THE AMOUNT OF WATER THAT CAN BE PUMPED IN LITRES PER HOUR
H.R. REFERS TO MAXIMUM HORIZONTAL DISTANCE TO WHICH WATER CAN BE PUMPED
HEAD REFERS TO THE MAXIMUM HEIGHT TO WHICH WATER CAN BE PUMPED(WATER VELOCITY BEING ZERO AT THIS HEIGHT)
HEAD IS BECAUSE OF THE PRESSURE CREATED BY THE PUMP THAT MAKES FLUID RISE TO A HEIGHT AS PER THE BERNOULLI THEOREM
POWER OUTPUT = 480 W
Q =1080LPH i.e. 1080litres per hour
WATER PRESSURE INSIDE PUMP,P=2.96-500V^2 (I CALCULATED IT!BERNOULLI THEOREM!)
ASSUMING V=10M/S(36KM/H) (ARBIT APPROXIMATION)
PRESSURE ,P=2.46 ATM=2.4X10^5 Pa
NOW WORK BY VISCOUS FORCES WILL TAKE AWAY SOME OF THAT PRESSURE
TAKING P’ UNITS OFF DUE TO THAT FINAL PRESSURE WILL BE
P=2.46-P’
NOW IF WATER IS TO BE PUMPED TO A LESSER HEIGHT SAY, ‘H’
VELOCITY AT THAT HEIGHT CAN BE CALCULATED AS
V=SQRT[{2(2.96-P’)-2000H}/500]
NOW DEPENDING ON THE AREA OF THE TUBE YOU CAN CALCULATE,
” VOLUME FLOW RATE” , FOR DIFFERENT VALUES OF P’ AND H’
http://garden-pond-filters.com/pondpumpcurve.htm
check this link it give a relation between head and flow rate if i could know the pump manufacturer and name of the pump we can get a pump curve for our pump and see how much flow rate we can get for our required head
